The Sony Reader PRS-300 is capable of 6,800 page turns from a single charge of the supplied battery. Enough to get through even the biggest book without having to recharge. When you do need to recharge however, the battery charges in 4 hours when using the supplied USB cable and charging via a PC or laptop USB port. If you buy the optional AC charger however, the charging time is reduced to just 2 hours.
